The Foundation

Daughters of Zion Women Foundation is a beacon of inclusivity, supporting women in need, regardless of race, religion, marital status, or age. Our foundation was inspired by the biblical reference to ‘Daughters of Zion,’ which symbolizes the beautiful daughters of the King who deserve love, respect, and a place in the Kingdom of Heaven. We welcome and value every woman who seeks our support, fostering a sense of belonging and community.

Founded in Edmonton, Alberta, our foundation is a registered non-profit charity focused on eradicating poverty and uplifting women in our community. We believe that every woman deserves to live a life of dignity and purpose, and our mission is to provide comprehensive support to help women achieve their full potential.

Our History

Where it began...

Established in January 2020, the Daughters of Zion Women Foundation was born out of a divine directive to take action and care for women in our community. Since then, we have grown into a dynamic organization dedicated to addressing the multifaceted challenges women face. Our programs and initiatives are designed to provide holistic support, covering emotional, physical, spiritual, and economic needs.

Our mission is to empower women through transformative education, mentorship, and comprehensive support. Our Approach

At Daughters of Zion Women Foundation, we understand women’s challenges are often complex and interconnected. Our holistic approach addresses these challenges by offering:

Emotional Support: Providing seminars, retreats, workshops, and counselling to help women navigate mental health, relationships, and personal development.
Physical Support: Ensuring food security through our food drive program, providing fresh, non-perishable, and frozen foods to women and their families.
Spiritual Support: Offering free Christian resources, prayer support, and spiritual guidance to help women grow in their faith.
Economic Empowerment: Providing resources for job searches, leadership skills, and business startups to help women achieve financial independence and success.
